Stoddart en Champ Car

Paul Stoddard sera en champ car l'an prochain avec l'équipe Minardi USA suite à l'aquisition d'une part importante de CTE Racing - HVM Champ Car team.

Il prévoit faire rouler 3 ou 4 voitures...aucun pilote n'a été annoncé jusqu'à présent.

Les noms les plus mentionnés sont: Robert Doornbos, Jos Verstappen,
Nelson Philippe et Dan Clarke.

Dans la conférence de presse, Stoddart a confirmé 2 voitures pour l'instant...

First of all I wanted to ask, in the press release it says that you'll be running a multi car team. How exact can you be, are we talking three cars, four cars? What's the situation?

PAUL STODDART: It's two cars, two cars confirmed, and we have not discounted a third car. We are obviously talking to people at the moment that would make that happen or not as the case may be.

Et en terminant, le président de la série Steve Johnson mentionne qu'on devrait arriver à 22-24 voitures pour 2007....Donc, ça peut ressembler à ceci...

hé ben, Minardi peut devenir un top team en champ car, la preuve que tout est relatif dans la vie....

je leur souhaite bonne chance en tout cas, ils en ont bavé en F1 avec leur budget minime.
ça sonnerai drole entendre parler du champion chez Minardi

La f1 c'est prestigieux ,mais entre rouler en fond de grille ou avoir la chance de faire des podiums et gagner...pour moi le choix est simple.
